The high school football regular season in the state of Arkansas has come to an end. It has been a terrific regular season and we have the postseason to look forward to which is always a blast to cover. However, we still have some business to attend to on wrapping up the regular season. Let’s take a look at the Prep RedZone Arkansas Prime-Time players for week 10. [player_tooltip player_id="106935" first="Stran" last="Smith"]-Quarterback-Benton-2022 The Benton Panthers have been one of the hottest teams in the state of Arkansas over the past few weeks. [player_tooltip player_id="106935" first="Stran" last="Smith"] had another explosive night for the Panthers. Smith was 19-32 for 375 yards and four touchdowns on Friday night. Benton is a dangerous team and appear to be clicking on all cylinders entering the playoffs. [player_tooltip player_id="149576" first="Tre" last="Hopkins"]-Running Back-Nashville-2024 [player_tooltip player_id="149576" first="Tre" last="Hopkins"] has turned the intensity up a notch over the past few weeks for the Scrappers. Hopkins was a workhorse for the Scrappers on Friday night. He rushed 29 times for 267 yards and three touchdowns. Hopkins is part of an impressive running back class that the class of 2024 is producing. The state of Arkansas has several talented players to keep an eye out for over the next two seasons. [player_tooltip player_id="75133" first="Eli" last="Wisdom"]-Quarterback-Shiloh Christian-2023 The Shiloh Christian signal caller was solid on Friday night. He only played one half of action against Huntsville but that did not stop him from being incredibly productive. Wisdom was 12-17 for 248 yards and five touchdowns. Wisdom has the Saints pointed toward another deep playoff run and they have an excellent shot of winding up at War Memorial Stadium in a few weeks. [player_tooltip player_id="133157" first="Landon" last="Jones"]-Wide Receiver-Lonoke-2023 One of the most explosive wide receivers in the class of 2023 is [player_tooltip player_id="133157" first="Landon" last="Jones"]. Jones had an impressive night on Friday. The Lonoke wide receiver hauled in 11 receptions for 147 yards and one touchdown. Jones creates separation with his speed, and he has some of the best hands in the state. He is a player to keep an eye on over the next few months. [player_tooltip player_id="131175" first="Darryl" last="Kattich"]-Running Back-Cedarville-2022 Kattich is one of the states most productive running backs. He has had a terrific career and he is closing it out well for Cedarville. On Friday, Kattich rushed 34 times for 331 yards and four touchdowns. The Pirates are going to be a nightmare to contend with in the state playoffs. The Pirates will host a home playoff next Friday in what should be a great game. [player_tooltip player_id="94994" first="Cooper" last="Wilcox"]-Quarterback-Greenbrier-2022 Wilcox has had an excellent 2021 season and he continues to direct a strong Greenbrier team into the playoffs. Wilcox was terrific on Friday against the Vilonia Eagles. Wilcox was 17-26 for 170 yards and two touchdowns. Meanwhile, he rushed 17 times for 84 yards and punched the ball in for another touchdown. Look out for Greenbrier in the state playoffs. [player_tooltip player_id="209859" first="Parker" last="Brown"]-Running Back-Heber Springs-2024 Heber Springs has a running back that has the potential to explode onto the recruiting scene over the next few years. Brown was nothing short of terrific on Friday night. He racked up 162 yards on the ground and punched the ball in the end zone three times. However, Brown was able to amass 283 all-purpose yards. The Heber Springs running back has a bright future ahead of him. Cam Harris-Wide Receiver-Benton-2022 One wide receiver that has exploded this season is Benton’s Harris. Harris hauled in six receptions for 166 yards and three touchdowns on Friday night. Harris has continued to raise his level of play every week and this week was no different. Harris has the potential to cause plenty of havoc in the playoffs and he is a player that can play at the Division one level. Look out for Harris in the playoffs. [player_tooltip player_id="157343" first="Cameron" last="Vanzant"]-Quarterback-Farmington-2024 The Farmington quarterback has had a strong 2021 season and the best is yet to come for this young signal caller. On Friday night, Vanzant threw for 394 yards and six touchdowns against Alma. Farmington is a scrappy football that is playoff bound. The Cardinals are playing well at the right time and a deep playoff run is not out of the question. Keep an eye on Vanzant he has the potential to be a special quarterback over the next few seasons. [player_tooltip player_id="134230" first="Nick" last="Huett"]-Running Back-Greenbrier-2022 Greenbrier does a great job of using a strong running game to mix with the explosive passing game. Running back [player_tooltip player_id="134230" first="Nick" last="Huett"] has had an excellent season for Greenbrier. On Friday, Huett had another big night. He rushed for 168 yards on 27 carries and two touchdowns as well as hauling in one reception for nine yards. Huett and Greenbrier is clicking on all cylinder and are 10-0 heading into the playoffs. Casey Johnson-Running Back-Benton-2022 The Benton Panthers are a loaded football team. Casey Johnson is the kind of running back that can run you over or simply run around you. On Friday, Johnson rushed 13 times for 134 yards and two touchdowns. Johnson has the potential to have an excellent playoff run for the Panthers. [player_tooltip player_id="149574" first="Bradon" last="Allen"]-Quarterback-Lonoke-2024 The Lonoke quarterback continues to impress me week after week. Allen was 15-22 for 232 yards and two touchdowns on Friday night. However, he was not finished there, Allen up 115 yards on the ground and punched the ball in the end zone two times. Allen is going to cause defensive coordinators plenty of headaches over the next few years. [player_tooltip player_id="75105" first="Bladen" last="Fike"]-Quarterback-Fayetteville-2022 [player_tooltip player_id="75105" first="Bladen" last="Fike"] helped the Bulldogs rack up an outright conference championship on Friday night. Fike 13-21 for 142 yards and three touchdowns. However, Fike made good use of his legs on Friday night rushing eight times for 49 yards and one touchdown. The Bulldogs are a hot team right now and are going to be tough to contend with in the playoffs. [player_tooltip player_id="159265" first="Isaiah" last="Jones"]-Wide Receiver-Nashville-2022 The Nashville wide receiver was all over the field for the Scrappers on Friday. Jones hauled in 13 receptions for 140 yards and two touchdowns. Jones can take it the distance from anywhere on the field and is a big play waiting to happen. Strong night for the Scrappers all the way around.
