Patterson stepped up his game in 2026-2027 throwing for 1539 yards.

Last year The Neosho Wildcats leaned heavily on the running ability of Keisean Rhone, with Rhone gone Patterson knew he was going to have to take control of the Wildcats offense. Patterson delivered in a big way leading them to a 8-1 regular season record knocking off two very good football teams back to back in the Webb City Cardinals and the Carthage Tigers. Neosho was a sleeper going into the 2026 season being unranked in the poll’s. Now Neosho is regarded as a favorite going into district play, a big part of that is because of how well Patterson has been playing.

Patterson has showed a well rounded game, being a true dual- threat quarterback. I can’t wait to watch him in the playoffs.

Patterson totaled 273 total yards, with 3 rushing td’s and 2 passing td’s last weekend.

Blayne Patterson Blayne Patterson 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB/ATH Neosho | 2027 MO showed a little bit of everything against the Republic Tigers. Patterson had a great game totaling 273 total yards, 3 rushing td’s, and 2 passing td’s, he commanded the offense effectively and multiple times marched his squad right down the field against a top ranked Republic Tigers defense. Patterson impressed me with his overall mobility, and creating his own play when he’s being pressured. He definitely improved his speed from last year and looks like his arm is considerably stronger opposed to last year.

The wildcats are off the a hot start and most of their success is do to the play of the Senior Blayne Patterson Blayne Patterson 6'1" | 205 lbs | QB/ATH Neosho | 2027 MO .
