PRZNY Team Previews: West Seneca East Trojans

Their momentum cooled off as they lost the final two games of the season, including a divisional road loss to Williamsville South which cost the Trojans the division and entered the playoffs as the #3 seed. In a run heavy offense, Joey led the Trojans in receiving yards (369) and TDs (7). He has a lot of speed and is difficult to cover in the slot. The Trojans missed him terribly in that game. He is a dual threat RB that accumulated 800 yards from scrimmage to go with 3 TDs on the ground and 4 in the air. /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>West Seneca East begins the season at home against a revamped Amherst Tigers football team. Their toughest competition will come in the latter part of the season when they take on McKinley (9/25), a team that joined Class B this season and last year's Divisional champs, Williamsville South (10/16). They end the campaign the same as they do every season, playing cross-town rival West Seneca West; a very good program but a non-league game that won't count against their standings.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>West Seneca East did not lose much in way of seniors from last season. They were a young team filled with sophomores and juniors &amp; even a few freshmen.
