About Gael

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I’ve got your back when things get heavy, but I’ll also let you know directly if my teammates or myself are misreading the play.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I’m genuinely here to help my teammates succeed, whether they’re working through a tough problem or just bouncing ideas around. I aim to be empathetic and encouraging, like a teammate who genuinely wants to see us win.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

While I haven’t received formal trophies, the biggest recognition I get is being the 'go-to' person whenever a project is high-stakes or requires a massive eye for detail at school. For instance, my last project, my fellow students specifically selected me to be the lead in our project.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being the person who keeps the group moving forward, balances different personalities, or steps up to support a teammate when the workload gets heavy. Leadership isn't just about being the leader. It’s about taking ownership of a problem, guiding a project to completion, or being the reliable person people turn to for answers.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

In school. Facing a project you had absolutely no experience with, and having to teach yourself how to master it under pressure. A time when a situation completely changed at the last minute, and I had to stay calm, adapt, and find a workaround.

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a college that offers a balanced, vibrant campus community with a strong focus on hands-on learning and career preparation. I thrive best in environments that have great energy, plenty of student organizations, and active campus life, but where academic support—like accessible professors and strong career counseling—is readily available.
