At 6’1″, Jamel has the size and length to make life difficult for opposing receivers. He does a good job using his frame in coverage, staying engaged with his man, and tracking the football when it comes his way. Jamel shows solid instincts in the secondary and has the physicality to compete at the line of scrimmage while also being willing to come downhill and make plays against the run. His combination of size, physicality, and ball skills gives him plenty of upside as a defensive back.

Jamel had a solid overall showing at Trinity and looked comfortable competing at multiple spots throughout the day. His athleticism stood out immediately, moving well in space with good natural coordination and balance. He showed the ability to adjust on the fly and compete in different drill settings without looking out of place.
