About Dominique

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

physical, focused on helping everyone know their job and responsibility, not worried about winning just worried about either making the play or helping make the play

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

mentality pregame is being focus is key for me. Stay off social media before the game, go out to the fields before pre-game warmups and envision playing and do a self warmup and walkthrough before going in and getting mentally focused and ready to go to war.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

i have developed the skill of helping others while learning from the things that i help other players with. I have become a leader for my team in not just the easy moments or situations but in the bad situations making sure everyone still does their job no matter how stressed they are.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

At the end of junior year (this year) I got diagnosed with cancer and I wouldn’t say it’s been a challenge holding me back but it’s been a challenge. The way it hasn’t been a challenge is I still show up to everything I can. If it means going to practice after a 5 hour day of chemo or being extremely tired and still going and giving the effort the team needs and it takes to be a leader.

What type of college are you looking for?

Any college that will help me exceed past my limits. A college that will push me to be a better self both mentally and physically. Somewhere I can learn and grow with classmates and teammates through a day to day basis, whether it’s in season or out of season.
