2027 RB/LB Moose Hedrick has been a key two-way standout for PikeView this season as a running back and linebacker for the Panthers. He’s a physical player on both sides of the ball and embodies the culture they’ve set in the program over the past three years. Hedrick is having a great year at running back, but he likely projects as a linebacker at the next level and is worth a look for D3 programs at that position or as a fullback.

has been a big reason for PikeView’s strong start, and the 2027 RB has continued producing as the Panthers have had another strong start to their season. Hedrick has rushed for 569 yards and nine touchdowns in their Wing-T and has emerged as their top option in the backfield. He’s a physical runner who is difficult to bring down when he gets downhill, but he also has enough speed to turn the corner and create explosive plays. Hedrick has become a focal point of the Panthers’ offense and is having the kind of production and film that makes him an intriguing prospect to know.
The nickname Moose is fitting for the way 2027 PikeView RB Moose Hedrick runs the ball for the Panthers out of its Wing-T attack. Hedrick has racked up 400 yards and 6 touchdowns through the first three weeks, helping the Panthers get off to their first 3-0 start since 2018. Hedrick is a tough, physical runner who’s a load to bring down, but even as a bigger back, he’s shown he can turn the corner and break away for some long runs as well. He’s a perfect fit as the bigger back in PikeView’s system and has helped set the tone for the kind of football the Panthers are establishing.
Another player expected to see an expanded role this fall is 2027 RB/LB Moose Hedrick. PikeView’s Wing-T offense thrives on utilizing multiple backs, and Hedrick has the skill set to become an effective complement in the backfield as a physical downhill runner who isn’t afraid to do the dirty work as a lead blocker when called upon. His impact should be just as noticeable on defense, where he’ll be counted on to help replace the production lost with Logan Cook’s graduation and emerge as one of the Panthers’ top linebackers. Hedrick embodies the tough and physical identity PikeView has worked to establish and should be a key contributor on both sides of the ball throughout his senior season.
