Spotlighting 2028 Receivers on the Rise in the Houston Area

At 6'2, he provides a wide catch radius for his QB and has shown the ability to win jump balls. He is strong and will use his size to free himself from defenders trying to cover him. Dimitrov has shown good hip-dip when getting out of his routes, allowing him to change directions and create separation when needed. With his quick feet and acceleration, he excelled both off the line of scrimmage and after the catch. His quickness led to many big-time plays and his ability to outrun a defense stood out in his play. In space Jones is a dangerous player. He can get to the edge and generate explosive gains with his speed. Jones can be used in a multitude of ways on offense with his skills and create mismatches with his play. He can run at every level and will find a way to make himself available for his QB. For the season Jones hauled in 19 catches for 351 yards and 6 touchdowns. He is a true redzone threat who can win any one-on-one matchup on the outside. Olson is a strong runner after the catch as well, running through tackles and fighting through defenders. He is a fluid route runner and knows how to get open on scramble drills. Olson shows strong, confident hands and does not shy away from making big plays. For his sophomore season, Olson racked up 376 yards and 3 touchdowns on 26 catches. Out of the slot he has shown quickness and elusiveness after the catch. He sinks his hips and gets out of his breaks will urgency. Lane can work at all levels and has shown the ability to keep the offense on track with timely receptions. On the season Lane caught 15 passes for 321 yards and 4 touchdowns, showing what he is capable of. He has great size and shows power after the catch. Griffin seems to always break the first tackle, fighting through defenders and keeping his leg churning for extra yards. He has great initial burst and can fly by defensive backs on slant routes. For his sophomore season Griffin tallied 222 yards and a touchdown on 14 receptions.
