Welcome to this week's Film Room Review, where we take a deeper look at some standout players from across Oklahoma. This session is all about going beyond the surface—diving into the details you only catch when you really study the film. We're talking about technique, fundamentals, decision-making, and how players respond in key moments.

As coaches, this is where you separate flash from substance. Anyone can make a highlight play, but what shows up consistently snap after snap is what really matters. Footwork, leverage, ball skills, eye discipline, effort—those are the traits we're focusing on in this breakdown.

The players featured this week put together strong performances and showed qualities that translate. Whether it's consistency, toughness, or the ability to execute under pressure, each of these athletes gave us something worth studying and evaluating moving forward.

Let's get into the film. We have a nice slate of athletes for you to check out!

[player_tooltip player_id='1177875' first='Max' last='Whitekiller'] - 2027 Athlete - Collinsville

Collinsville 2027 athlete [player_tooltip player_id='1177875' first='Max' last='Whitekiller'] put together a strong junior season, finishing with 62 tackles, 12 pass breakups, and 3 interceptions on defense while also adding 12 receptions for 160 yards and 3 touchdowns on offense. Overall, he's a very good athlete who plays with solid technique at the safety/corner position. He's physical and will come downhill to hit, while also showing the ability to flip his hips well and hold up in man coverage. He plays the ball naturally in the air and competes throughout the route. Offensively, he enjoys blocking at wide receiver and catches the ball well, displaying good body control and coordination. We believe Max will have a standout senior season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1839512' first='Jensen' last='Underwood'] - 2029 QB - Verdigris

Verdigris Class of 2029 quarterback [player_tooltip player_id='1839512' first='Jensen' last='Underwood'] put together a good season, throwing for 1,706 yards and 12 touchdowns as a freshman starter. He does a good job placing the ball where his receivers can make plays and shows the ability to throw an effective deep ball. Jensen keeps his eyes downfield, can really spin the football, and looks comfortable throwing on the move. He does a nice job rolling out of the pocket while still maintaining solid ball placement. Moving forward, I'd like to see more full-field film to evaluate how consistently he works through full progression reads, but the early tools and upside are definitely there.

Terrance Adams JR - 2029 Athlete - Broken Arrow

Broken Arrow athlete Terrance Adams JR has racked up 4 current offers from SMU, Texas Tech, Memphis Tigers and UTSA. Pretty impressive offers already especially being in the 2029 class which is loaded. Standing at 6'3”, Terrance has a long, athletic frame with good overall versatility. Defensively, he does a nice job coming downhill and making tackles in open space while showing solid play in the secondary. He competes for the football, high points the ball well, and isn't afraid to challenge receivers at the catch point. On offense, he finds ways to get open at wide receiver and shows a willingness to block, bringing a physical and team first mentality to the game.

Adenawel Quezada - 2027 OL/DL - Booker T. Washington

Booker T. Washington 2027 offensive and defensive lineman, Adenawel Quezada, helps anchor the front trenches for the Hornets. He has good feet and moves well, especially for his size. He does a nice job getting to the second level and identifying his blocks, showing good awareness in space. He stays active in pass protection, comes off the ball with purpose, and likes to play physical at the point of attack. He consistently keeps his feet moving through contact and plays with a finish mentality, always looking to sustain and complete his blocks.

[player_tooltip player_id='1683118' first='Ty' last='Gaither'] - 2027 OL - Hilldale

Hilldale 2027 offensive lineman [player_tooltip player_id='1683118' first='Ty' last='Gaither'] has already picked up four offers to date, and it's easy to see why. He's a physical blocker who drives his feet through contact and plays with good effort and toughness. He moves well in open space, gets to the second level effectively, and shows the ability to locate and engage defenders. In pass protection, he looks comfortable and patient, showing a solid kick step and good setup technique to handle defenders off the edge. Ty has a good frame and cannot wait to see how he continues to develop his senior year and at the next level.
