Henderson is the type of linebacker that every defense wants in today’s game because of his ability to impact multiple phases. With his length and frame, he naturally disrupts passing lanes while also showing the athleticism to drop back comfortably in coverage. He covers a ton of ground sideline-to-sideline and flashes the instincts to read plays quickly before attacking downhill. As a pass rusher, Henderson brings versatility off the edge with long arms that help him separate from blockers and create pressure on quarterbacks. His length also allows him to finish tackles in space and make plays that shorter defenders simply cannot reach.
What stands out most is how fluid he moves for his size. Henderson does not look stiff changing direction and shows the ability to stay with tight ends and running backs in coverage. He has the upside to develop into a true three down linebacker at the next level because of his combination of range, physicality, and pass-rushing ability.
