New England: Testing Standouts at the Friday Night Lights Camp

Here are some of the top performers in the combine-testing portion of Saint Anselm College's Friday Night Lights Camp, which was held May 8 in Goffstown, N.H. The camp featured 70 athletes from the New England region.    [player_tooltip player_id='689806' first='Michael' last='Brearley'] was a late addition to the camp, and was the top performer during the testing portion of the event. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds, which was the fastest time turned in at the camp, and also had the best broad jump (9 feet, 9 inches) of any athlete who attended. In addition, Brearley had the fourth-fastest time in the pro-agility shuttle (4.38 seconds). Brearley, who missed four games during his junior season, will be one of the top running backs in New Hampshire next season.      Will Harrison was the top performer in the pro-agility shuttle with a time of 4.22 seconds. He ran the 40-yard dash in 4.7 seconds, which was the third fastest time recorded, and was fourth in the broad jump (8 feet, 11 inches). Harrison, who also plays defensive back, completed 145 of 189 passes last season, when he passed for 1,858 yards and 22 touchdowns. He also ran for 405 yards and eight TDs.      [player_tooltip player_id='2211718' first='Jack' last='Guinipero'] was selected as one of the top defensive backs at the camp, but attracted plenty of attention during the combine testing as well. His 4.78 time in the 40-yard dash tied for fourth in that event, and he was also one of the top performers in both the pro-agility shuttle (4.41 seconds/fifth) and the broad jump (8-10/fifth). Guinipero lined up at both wide receiver and running back last season, when he also was used to return punts and kickoffs.      [player_tooltip player_id='1569267' first='Samson' last='Davis'] is another athlete who tested well in his home state. He tied for the fourth-fastest time in the 40-yard dash (4.78 seconds), completed the pro-agility shuttle in 4.82 seconds and tied for fifth in the broad jump (8 feet, 10 inches). Davis spent the 2024 season at ConVal Regional High School, where his father is the head coach, but transferred to the St. Paul's School before the 2025 season. Although primarily a defensive back, Davis listed linebacker as his secondary position.      Only Brearley ran a faster time than Ariel Ochoa in the 40-yard dash at the camp. Ochoa was clocked at 4.6 seconds. He was good in the two other combine events as well. Ochoa tied for fifth in the broad jump (8 feet, 10 inches) and completed the pro-agility shuttle in 4.47 seconds. Although he was used primarily on defense last season, when he recorded 55 tackles and had one interception, he also saw limited time at wide receiver and caught six passes for 98 yards.
