“Baker is quick, sees the field well, and has the speed and burst to almost instantly take the ball upfield for good gains on the ground. Baker is great at following his blockers, makes the most out of every carry, and does a good job at protecting the ball.

I’m really impressed with Baker’s blend of elusiveness and contact balance as a ball carrier. He can spin, juke, and cut with little effort, and does a great job withstanding contact and powering through defenders with the ball. I think we could see a real breakout season with him this upcoming fall. There’s a lot to like with his game.”

Baker made some explosive plays on the ground last fall. There’s a lot to look forward to with him in 2026. I think we’ll see him in a larger role, where I’m sure he’ll find success.
