North Lincoln enters a new era with a new head coach, a renewed mindset, and bigger goals for the program. After a mid-season injury forced the Knights to turn to their future signal caller earlier than expected, valuable experience was gained that could pay dividends this fall. With that early exposure at quarterback and several key returning starters back in the fold, North Lincoln has the pieces in place to take a step forward and make noise this season. The foundation is there — now it's about turning potential into results.    Rising senior ATH [player_tooltip player_id='1348404' first='Landen' last='Agee'] is the heart and soul of North Lincoln and one of the leaders this team will lean on heading into the new era. A true two-way impact player, Agee makes his presence felt on both sides of the ball but is primarily being utilized and recruited at running back. The 2x All-Conference selection is a home-run threat every time he touches the football with the ability to score from anywhere on the field. His explosiveness, versatility, and leadership make him one of the biggest pieces to North Lincoln's success this season.     Rising senior LB Dominic Kimble could be one of the breakout players for North Lincoln this season. Kimble saw his junior year shortened but still flashed big-time potential, recording three double-digit tackle performances in just five games played. At 6'1 and nearly 180 pounds, he has the frame, length, and athletic ability coaches look for at the position. Kimble can play downhill, rush off the edge, and has the athleticism to match up with tight ends in coverage. If he can stay healthy, expect a big season and a major jump in production from the North Lincoln linebacker.     Angel Outlaw may be undersized, but the rising senior brings the kind of toughness and grit coaches love up front. Outlaw makes up for any size concerns with quickness, physicality, and a fearless mentality in the trenches. He plays with great effort and isn't afraid to mix it up against bigger defenders. His versatility is also a plus, showing the ability to project at center or either guard at the next level. Tough, dependable linemen like Outlaw always find ways to make an impact.     Rising senior Jaxson Ross is the definition of a blue-collar workhorse up front for North Lincoln. A two-way lineman who is primarily used on the defensive side, Ross may be a bit undersized, but he makes up for it with toughness, effort, and leadership. He takes ownership of the group around him, helping get his fellow linemen lined up and organized while setting the tone with his play. Ross is more of a penetrating defensive lineman who thrives getting into the backfield, and offensively his athleticism and footwork would make him an ideal pulling lineman. High motor player with a big heart and team-first mentality.     Easton Lusk entered last season as a backup DB/QB before being thrust into the starting quarterback role late in the year. Now with that experience behind him and a full offseason to prepare as the guy, Lusk is ready to step into a leadership role for North Lincoln. With a new offense and familiar weapons around him, expect a big jump in production this fall. The rising sophomore brings good athleticism and speed to the position, allowing him to extend plays, roll out, and keep drives alive when things break down. After getting an early taste of varsity football, Lusk looks primed to make a jump this season — keep an eye on him.
