Cedar Rapids Kennedy enjoys a long history of developing athletic student-athletes into productive football players. When watching Dill at the Back 2 Ballin High 2026 7v7 Tournament during the middle of April at the UNI-Dome, the Cougar freshman performed like a prospect that fits nice into that mold. After getting his feet under him on the freshman team this past fall, Dill has continued honing his skills for the Iowa Insanity 7v7 program this spring. Envisioning a future of catching passes and delivering big plays on offense is not hard watching him on that side of the ball. That said, I like his upside in the secondary. Dill’s fluid movements and speed help him stick with receivers in coverage. He’s explosive to the ball and jumps well. Dill could develop as a cornerback or safety with potential of growing into a hybrid, too. Coming off an uncharacteristically down season, a lot of jobs will be up for grabs at Kennedy during camp. Don’t be surprised to see Dill carving out a varsity role.
