There are several talented 8th grade prospects in WNY and here I will spotlight a few of them.

QUARTERBACKS

[player_tooltip player_id='1992253' first='Camden' last='Charland'] (Orchard Park) - Should have a solid year on JV then come in to 2027 as the Quakers starting QB.

[player_tooltip player_id='2173935' first='Brian' last='Litzinger'] (St. Francis) - The Red Raiders have the top rated QB in WNY graduating in 2027. That should leave the door open for Litzinger.

Camare Paris - A Buffalo product, I still have not heard where he will go to high school but he should be considered one of the most athletic QB prospects in WNY.

RUNNING BACKS

[player_tooltip player_id='1717971' first='Serjio' last='Ridgeway II'] (St. Joe's) - Solid vision and tough to bring down - should be an elite prospect as his high school career progresses.

Nyshawn Wells (Niagara Falls) - A big bruising back that is tough to bring down.

WIDE RECEIVERS

Sawyer Muldowney (Cardinal O'Hara) - Quick feet and catches with his hands.

Mason Whitehead (St. Francis) - St. Francis is loaded with offensive weapons right now. But most are graduating next year so look for Whitehead to make an impact in 2027/2028

.O-LINE/D-LINE

[player_tooltip player_id='1735898' first='Ariz' last='Rosner'] (Williamsville East) - Listed at 6'2 and 260+ lbs, Rosner is one of the top lineman prospects in this class.

Joe Burns (Sweet Home) - I have yet to see film on Burns but he is listed at over 250 lbs and could be the catalyst and bring their O-Line to the dominance they had in 2024.

Adam Mohamed (Amherst) - Big body DE with a large wingspan.

LB/EDGE

[player_tooltip player_id='1563420' first='Nolan' last='Lawrence'] (St. Francis) - An athletic EDGE rusher that should spend some time on JV before being brought up to varsity. A top prospect to keep an eye on.

ATHLETES

Leo Billingslea (Orchard Park) - Billingslea is short in stature but tough between the tackles. Will most likely begin on OP's Freshman football team and will need to work his way up.

Connor Wade (Orchard Park) - I still have not seen film on Wade but he is a WR/DB hybrid - a position that the Quakers lacked last season.
