Inside Ben Davis: Underclassmen Planning to Power Success

After one season at Bloomington North, he returns to the Indianapolis area where he was head coach at Perry Meridian. At 6-foot-3, 194 pounds, Booker has great instincts and takes great pursuit angles. He has a high motor, frequently pursuing ballcarriers and flashing tremendous range and athletic ability. Booker is a strong pass rusher with legitimate edge speed, turns the corner with burst and takes great angles to the QB. Ameny has a very high ceiling. Although lacking in ideal height and size, Amey makes up for it with great burst, speed and a very high motor. Like Booker, he is a very good pass rusher who can deliver heavy hits on the quarterback. Cope displays great instincts, and above all, range. He can shoot through gaps effectively, takes good angles to the ball and wraps up. Cope brings some energy on defense, firing up the group after the play. Strong as a passer and dynamic as a runner, Doss can make defenders miss on the move and throws a nice, on-time, accurate deep ball. He also is a defensive back where his size and length can be utilized in coverage.
