Aeson shows up on film as a confident cover defender who embraces the challenge on the outside. He stays patient at the line, not overcommitting early, and uses controlled footwork to mirror releases and stay in phase downfield. What stands out is how he tracks the ball in the air ; he locates it naturally and plays through the receiver’s hands, turning pass breakups into routine plays. He’s not just a cover guy either; when the ball comes his way in the run game or on quick screens, he triggers downhill without hesitation and finishes with purpose. There’s a competitive edge to his game you can see it in how he competes at the catch point and doesn’t shy away from physical moments.
