One of the most impressive DL of the entire group was Dominic Walter Dominic Walter 6'2" | 270 lbs | DL/OL Sheboygan Lutheran | 2027 WI of Sheboygan Lutheran. The 6’1″ 255 lbs incoming senior has a prototypical frame that has solid length and carries good weight throughout the frame with room to continue to fill out. I loved watching this kid compete in pads. He brings a very effective blend of athletic lower body and powerful upper body. That opened the door for him to win in a variety of ways throughout the afternoon. It was also great to see him rush and win using multiple different plans of attack. The versatile DL should be on the radar of all the D3 programs in WI and the surrounding D2 programs. He currently holds offers from St. Norbert’s and River Falls.

Dominic is going to be someone to watch this summer. He just hit my radar this offseason and the All Conference Honorable Mention OL & DL definitely has the talent to carry him on to the next level. I love the power this kid brings to the field. You see it early in the tape as he flattens OL trying to kick him out. Dominic takes the fight to the opponent and never waits for his opponent. He is aggressive and attacks. Yet while he has all that power the ’27 OL/DL is still able to be so light, sudden, and explosive on his feet. Walter brings a really sound balance of size, power, and athleticism that can open the door for him to play on either side of the trenches.
