Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season over, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

Jakobe Gilyard – RB, Niceville High (c/o 2029)
Height/Weight: 5'10” / 175 lbs
Season Stats: 1,211 rush yds (110.1 yds/g), 5.4 avg, 223 att; 22 rec for 350 yds; 18 TD (11 GP)

Scouting Report:
Gilyard is a productive, well-rounded back with strong vision and consistent burst through the hole. He presses the line patiently, makes decisive cuts, and shows the ability to create yardage after contact. His involvement in the passing game highlights soft hands and comfort operating in space.

Analysis:
Gilyard projects as a true three-down back with the ability to handle volume while contributing as a receiver. Continued physical development will help him break more tackles at the second level, but his production, balance, and versatility already stand out for the 2029 class.

Sammy Chisolm – RB, Mosley High (c/o 2027)
Height/Weight: 5'7” / 175 lbs
Season Stats: 1,189 rush yds (99.1 yds/g), 5.1 avg, 229 att; 20 rec for 124 yds; 20 TD (12 GP)

Scouting Report:
Chisolm is a compact, high-motor runner who thrives between the tackles. He shows excellent leverage, low pad level, and strong contact balance. His nose for the end zone and ability to consistently move the chains make him a reliable offensive catalyst.

Analysis:
Chisolm projects as a dependable feature back who can carry a heavy workload. While not overly tall, his toughness and consistency compensate. Continued work in space and acceleration development could unlock more explosive plays to complement his power-driven style.

Austin Eichman – RB/LB, Milton High (c/o 2027)
Height/Weight: 6'0” / 195 lbs
Season Stats: 352 rush yds (35.2 yds/g), 5.3 avg, 66 att, 1 TD (10 GP)

Scouting Report:
Eichman is a physical athlete with a strong frame and downhill running style. He shows solid vision and finishes runs with authority. His two-way ability suggests good football IQ and toughness, particularly when navigating contact.

Analysis:
Eichman projects as a developmental power back with positional flexibility. Increasing his offensive workload and refining lateral agility will determine his ceiling at running back, but his size and physical presence provide intriguing upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='1707674' first='Sean' last='Williams'] Jr – RB/ATH, Mosley High (c/o 2027)
Height/Weight: 5'7” / 180 lbs
Season Stats: 127 rush yds, 6.8 avg, 25 att, 1 TD; 2 rec for 5 yds (4 GP)

Scouting Report:
Williams is an explosive, compact athlete with impressive efficiency in limited touches. He accelerates quickly and shows the ability to change direction without losing speed. His build allows him to run through contact despite his height.

Analysis:
Williams projects as a change-of-pace weapon with upside as his role expands. Increased reps and development in the passing game will clarify his long-term fit, but his burst and efficiency indicate playmaking potential.

Khalil Lauderdale – RB/ATH, Mosley High (c/o 2029)
Height/Weight: 5'10” / 180 lbs
Season Stats: 67 rush yds, 9.6 avg, 7 att, 1 TD; 4 rec for 170 yds and 2 TD (4 GP)

Scouting Report:
Lauderdale is a big-play threat every time he touches the ball. His elite per-touch production highlights acceleration, open-field speed, and natural ball skills as a receiver. He can stretch defenses vertically from the backfield and create explosive mismatches.

Analysis:
Lauderdale profiles as a true sleeper with high-upside athletic traits. While his sample size is limited, his efficiency and receiving impact are eye-catching. As his workload increases, he has the potential to emerge as a dynamic offensive weapon in the 2029 class.
