Ejani Shakir Ejani Shakir 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Winslow | 2023 State NJ WR, Pennsauken
Not to be outdone by his WR counterpart, Ejani Shakir Ejani Shakir 6'0" | 175 lbs | WR Winslow | 2023 State NJ showed why he is the number one receiver in the 2023 class. Though most of his production came on one drive, he finished the game with four catches for 48 yards and a touchdown on seven targets and 27 routes run. At 6’1 180 he is very physical, especially at the catch point. On his lone touchdown of the game, he ran a beautiful post route where he high-pointed the football, despite a defender on his back for the score. He didn’t really have a gaudy stat line but he most certainly did his part to keep Pennsauken in this game.

Pennsauken called this young man’s number early and often, literally counting on him to carry the load. To his credit, he performed well; carrying the ball 21 times for 126 yards and a touchdown. Even carrying the ball seven times in a row on one drive. His touchdown run was very impressive where he showed solid contact balance for a smaller back and very good burst to quickly and consistently hit holes. Juwan Lee, HB Burlington
Not physically imposing at the running back position but makes for it in burst and elusiveness. His performance was impressive due to his elite traits. He didn’t break many tackles but he did force five missed tackles in space while also scoring a touchdown. His quick feet are key and evident when he gets to the second level working against linebackers and safeties. He by no means will run anyone over but good luck trying to tackle him in space.
