Expert Analysis
Matt Tate | Prep Redzone Scout
Cunningham plays tackle for Manitou Springs measuring in at 6’4 245-pounds. Cunningham has good balance, knee bend, and flexibility. Very good initial quickness out of his stance quickly grasping his opponent. Uses his very good hand strength and placement to control and steer the defender with ease, either creating running lanes or extra time in the pocket. Very good body control. Uses his stout anchor and low body strength to stand tall against explosive edge rushers. Cunningham has good footwork as well showing great control. He also has good athleticism to block out in space or out into the 2nd level. Very good competitive toughness, consistently playing through the whistle and making this presence known. Exciting young lineman to know.

Cunningham brings impressive size and presence to the offensive line at Manitou Springs. At 6’4, he possesses the frame college programs covet and continues to add strength to complement his length. Cunningham shows the ability to anchor in pass protection and generate push in the run game, giving his offense balance in the trenches. His wingspan and natural power allow him to control defenders at the point of attack, while his footwork provides a solid foundation to build upon. An important offseason focused on added muscle and refinement will elevate his game even further. As he prepares to test himself against stronger competition, Cunningham is a small school standout who deserves attention from in state programs.

Cunningham measures in at 6’4 245-pounds playing tackle for Manitou Springs. He has very good hand strength, placement, with good strength. Cunningham has very good initial quickness out of his stance paired with very good hand speed. He maintains a low pad level due to his good knee bend and flexibility. Very good body control and good balance. Cunningham controls and steers the defensive line to create running lanes for his back. He does a good job as an anchor in pass protection. He neutralizes pass rush moves and gives more time for his QB in the pocket. Good speed from 1st to 2nd level blocks. I’m intrigued to see how Cunningham continues to develop as a lineman, and think he could also slot in at guard at the college level.
