Clopton is a speedy back who can accelerate and outrun just about anyone he comes across on the field. He runs a laser 4.38 40-yard dash, and it shows all over his tape. He can stop and start with the best of them, and his feet can move as fast as his eyes. He’s best when stretching the field and getting to the outside, where he can find a lane and get through it. He returns kicks and is a threat to take it to the house if he gets a crease. He’s also got decent hands and can be involved in the passing game, giving him some extra versatility. He rushed for 516 yards on just 70 carries and had 3 TDs, and set himself up nicely to take a big step in year 3.
