Waters is a shifty, smaller receiver who does his best work once the ball gets in his hands. He’s a YAC guy who can make defenders miss and turn short completions into bigger gains. His short-area quickness stands out, and he changes direction well without losing much speed. He understands how to work in traffic and find space underneath. Watching him, I keep coming back to the slot. That’s where his skill set feels like it could really shine and allow him to create problems for defenses.

Waters kicked things off in the first game I watched with a long YAC score, which as I have mentioned before, is a tall task to climb for skill players in a touch-to-down setting. He obviously has the twitch and speed to make things happen in space, but he also acted as a reliable option in the short areas, where he quickly rifled across the field and into clean passing windows.
