Skyler Burger
About Skyler
Expert Analysis
Andrew Johnson | Prep Redzone Scout
Burger has quietly put together a strong season as one of the more instinctive linebackers in the area. He currently has 77 total tackles and 12.0 tackles for loss, showing the ability to consistently find himself around the football. He reads the action quickly, flows well to the ball and does a good job finishing tackles once he gets there. There is also some disruptive ability to his game, especially when he can get downhill and attack the line of scrimmage. Burger projects as a smart, reliable linebacker who understands where he needs to be and plays with consistent effort. The production gives him a strong foundation heading into the second half of the season.
