About Ethan

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I would describe myself as a high-IQ playmaker with a relentless work rate. I focus on maintaining technical precision under pressure and take pride in my ability to transition quickly from defense to offense. I’m a 'team-first' player who thrives in a structured system and looks to lead through consistent communication on the field. I also love playing Nasty Mainley because I play OL.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

I would describe my gameplay style as fast and aggressive. I rely on high instincts and field awareness to anticipate plays before they happen. My mentality is one of quiet confidence; I’m intense and focused on the field with a 'do-or-die' approach, but I prioritize being coachable and accountable in the locker room. I’m a lead-by-example player who speaks up when I know we can do better.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I've kept a 3.2-3.5 GPA over the last two years.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

As a freshman offensive lineman, I’ve focused heavily on developing discipline and mental toughness. Since I’m competing at the Freshmen level, going soon to jv or varsity, I treat every practice like a varsity game because I know I’m building the foundation for my future. I’ve really worked on my accountability—being the first one in the weight room and the last one to leave.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

The biggest challenge I’ve faced as a freshman was adjusting to the speed and physicality of high school football. Coming out of middle school, I was used to being the biggest player on the field, but I quickly realized that at this level, size alone isn't enough to win in the trenches. Because I’m currently playing on the Freshmen team, my challenge has been staying disciplined with my technique

What type of college are you looking for?

I’m looking for a high-energy, Division I environment like LSU that balances elite athletic competition with strong academic resources. I want to attend a university where tradition and community are central to the experience. Most importantly, I’m looking for a program that values growth and accountability, where I can contribute to a winning culture while preparing for a successful career.
