The deeper arm strength and growth in the precision department, is what pops out immediately upon watching the mid season tape from our QB4 amongst the North Dakota 2025 class. I also see Benjamin’s progressions looking seemingly faster than his 2023 tape as he has way more torque in his release especially over the middle of the field. Did I mention Benjamin is still waiting on his first offer? I have significantly surprised by that, but I expect his midseason tape to open up some eyes. Twitter

Ben showed off the development I saw this summer with the speed of his quick release as this kid was firing on all cylinders against Des Lac-Burlington last Friday. He showed off some intriguing smooth progressions within his intermediate routes as well as you can tell he’s growing plenty of chemistry with his Aggies receiving core. Ben also sparked on tape with his precision on deep routes, placing his ball on a line that allowed his wide receivers to grab & go thru the air and showed off excellent touch when he extended. The arm strength Ben shows off has showed steady growth from my evaluation over the summer, as a 2025 quarterback that should certainly get some next-level attention that seems to gravitate week after week with his growth. Ben was a QB prospect that I had circled before camp at the UND Flagship Camp as one of North Dakota’s top 2025 quarterbacks from our recent 2025 rankings update and he showed off plenty of the skillsets that intrigued me in the 2022 season and into this summer of camps. I first liked the mobility Ben showed off with his footwork as he showed instinct with his movement inside and outside of the pocket with his awareness. He showed off a quick release on short and intermediate routes from my eyes. Ben also showed off what I liked on tape and during games last season, as his ball placement with his receivers in 1v1 reps was smoothly on point. One of Ben’s developments I see is with his timing of his throws, however I will take that with a grain of salt from what I saw at UND as Ben was not playing with his core receiving like he has at Velva such as WR1

amongst others. He is certainly a QB to watch for in the 2025 class as a 1st Team All-State QB from the 11B state champs that have a good herd of talent coming back for more in 2023. Twitter

Stat Line: 15/18, 215 passing yards, 3 TDs. 3 carries, 15 rushing yards, 3 TDs (6 total TDs)
Eval: Ben is a new prospect on our 2025 watch list that balled out in Week 1 with 6 total touchdowns for the Velva Aggies. Ben’s freshmen tape shows some solid finished arm strength on his intermediate routes and accurate touch on shorter routes. He shows some excellent poise inside the pocket for his age and can get out of trouble when under pressure and make a competitive throw as he does around just under the 30-second mark of his freshmen tape. By the looks of his tape and early season stats, he’s looking like one of the most developed young QB1s in our North Dakota 2025 class with a lot left to prove over the coming years.
