He’s a good run blocker who gets under people and knows to keep his head and hips between the defender and the ball carrier. He drives his feet through contact and can bury defensive linemen who dive at his legs. Heppenstall could improve his foot speed as a pass blocker and mirror the defender with his legs rather than open his hips up. He can play center or guard and a strong offseason in the weight room could make him a very good offensive lineman his senior year.
