About Trey

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Smooth runner who transitions easily from passer to scrambler/designed runs. Good speed and elusiveness for his size. Dual-threat profile emphasized in evaluations; extends plays with legs and picks up chunk yards on read options or scrambles. Works well as a pocket passer but can evade pressure; solid mechanics overall. Described as "fluidly from a pocket passer to a running QB" with good vision

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My father is a Marine and Coached me at young age. He taught me to hate losing more than I love winning. I am mature, responsible, great teammate high character off field. I am also calm in chaos; doesn't panic; maintains confidence without arrogance. High football IQ; quick learner; processes info rapidly. I am resilient under pressure; bounces back from mistakes; plays through adversity.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

(BSU) Black Student Union Honor Roll Church Group that helped aid the Los Angles fire victims of 2024. My church assisted families with shelter, food and clothing.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being the son of a Marine, my father raised me with core values. Honor, Courage, Commitment. Honor encompasses integrity, responsibility, accountability, maturity, dedication, trust, and dependability. Courage enables people to do what is right to a higher standard of personal conduct, make decisions under stress and pressure. Commitment represents the maturity, devotion, unwavering resolve.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

My Jr. season at Murrieta Mesa High School, I tore my labrum on my throwing shoulder during a scrimmage. I missed the first 5 games of the season and we went 1-4. When I came back at about 70%, I was able to lead my team on a 10-game winning streak that encompassed winning the school first ever CIF Championship and regionals 3A runners-up. I put me team first and myself second.
