As we take a last look at the 2026 class, a new group of running backs has emerged with strong production and growing recruiting traction. Fox is a physical, hard nosed running back who continues to build traction on the recruiting trail. He rushed for 677 yards on 129 carries and found the end zone 13 times, showing a knack for finishing drives. Fox runs with toughness between the tackles and consistently picks up tough yards. His willingness to step up in pass protection adds value and keeps him on the field being a 3 down back. Drawing Division II and Division III interest, Fox projects as a dependable back who can contribute early. With continued exposure, he appears poised to secure an offer before the next signing period.     Halls brings a reliable, between the tackles presence to the running back position. He rushed for 1,036 yards on 145 carries while scoring seven touchdowns, consistently keeping the chains moving. Halls runs with good pad level, finishes runs and shows patience waiting for lanes to develop. His physical style wears down defenses over the course of a game and makes him effective in short yardage situations. As he looks to draw Division III attention, Halls profiles as an under the radar back who can thrive in a system that values ball control and consistency.     Jadd is a shifty runner who brings versatility to the backfield. He rushed for 597 yards on 121 carries and scored five rushing touchdowns while adding 10 receptions for 153 yards and a score through the air. Jadd shows good vision between the tackles and enough quickness to slip through tight spaces. His ability to contribute as a pass catcher adds value and makes him a strong change of pace option. With continued development, Jadd could draw Division III interest as a multi-dimensional back capable of filling several roles in an offense.     Elder is an explosive playmaker who excels once he reaches the perimeter. He rushed for 727 yards on just 84 carries, averaging impressive efficiency while scoring five times on the ground. Elder added another five touchdowns as a receiver, totaling 296 yards on 18 catches. His burst, acceleration and open field ability allow him to turn small creases into big gains. Elder's dual-threat skill set fits well in spread systems that value versatility. With his production and big play profile, he is a strong candidate to draw Division II interest moving forward.     Reynold offers a balanced skill set that allows him to be effective both inside and outside the tackles. He rushed for 542 yards on 83 carries with five touchdowns, showing explosiveness when space opened up. Reynold also contributed as a receiver, scoring twice through the air and adding another layer to his offensive value. He runs with confidence, hits holes decisively and shows comfort catching the football out of the backfield. Reynold projects as a strong fit for a smaller program seeking a versatile back who can make an immediate impact.     Hemphill put together a breakout season that earned him a commitment to Dordt University. He rushed for 1,389 yards on 167 carries and scored 23 touchdowns, displaying a rare combination of power and efficiency. Hemphill added 21 receptions for 322 yards and four more scores, showing his versatility. He runs with physicality, good vision and a strong finishing ability near the goal line. Dordt is adding a complete offensive weapon who has the tools to contribute early and become a focal point of their offense.
