About Caden

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

My gameplay style is being quick on my feet and swarming to the ball.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being a captain all four year of Pop Warner (youth football) helped me develop strong leadership skills and set the foundation for how I lead today. I learned how to motivate others, communicate clearly, and lead by example on and off the field. Working at a daycare for three summers also taught me patience and strengthened my communication skills.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

I faced a significant challenge when I fractured my foot this football season. This happened during week 5. When I got cleared, I worked my way back and stepped in at OL, going against players 2x my size. This experience made me see how a little sacrifice can go a long way for you’re team.

What type of college are you looking for?

I am looking to go to any college that gives me the opportunity to play football at the next level. I would like to major in business or pre law.

Bessler is a true outside linebacker that has a strong understanding of the position and can come up and set the edge and make plays in the open field. He tackles well in space and takes good angles while able to take down bigger ball carriers and track down backside. He reads plays quickly, shows he can get behind the line off the edge and has closing speed and change of direction to bring down receivers and backs in space. Bessler is a high motor prospect that should fit nicely as a safety/outside linebacker prospect in college and is far from a finished product. Look for Bessler to be one of the top tacklers across San Diego heading into the 2026 season and is a key regional name to note in the 2029 class.
