South Florida’s Underrated 2026 RBs Worth College Offers

Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.   These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.   There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects. Macrae Thompson – Bishop Verot High (c/o 2026) Height/Weight: 5'10”, 200 lbs Season Stats: 139 carries for 885 yards, 7 TDs; 6 receptions for 31 yards and 2 TDs   Scouting Report: Thompson is a sturdy, well-built runner with strong lower-body power and consistent north–south efficiency. He hits the hole with conviction and maintains balance through contact, making him difficult to bring down on first attempts. His production reflects a reliable early-down runner who thrives between the tackles.   Analysis: Thompson's physicality and toughness are standout traits. While he isn't overly flashy, he excels at controlling the pace of a drive and moving the chains. Improving his burst and usage in the passing game can elevate his versatility, but his current profile already projects as a dependable college-level back.   Jesiah McKnight – Charlotte High (c/o 2026) Height/Weight: 5'9”, 198 lbs Season Stats: 169 carries for 874 yards, 11 TDs; 8 receptions for 87 yards   Scouting Report: McKnight is a compact, powerful back with a downhill style and excellent leg drive. He thrives in tight spaces, showcasing patience and vision before exploding through interior lanes. His contact balance is a major asset, allowing him to break tackles and finish runs with authority.   Analysis: McKnight has the makeup of a workhorse with strong production volume and physical consistency. Continued development as a receiver and expanding his lateral agility will further strengthen his all-around skill set. He has clear college-level traits with room to climb even higher.   Savyan Senat – IMG Academy (c/o 2026) Height/Weight: 6'0”, 205 lbs Season Stats: 125 carries for 918 yards, 11 TDs; 11 receptions for 129 yards and 1 TD   Scouting Report: Senat brings a blend of size, strength, and athleticism that fits the profile of a high-end collegiate back. His upright running style is paired with a smooth running style and acceleration in the open field. He consistently generates chunk plays and shows soft hands as a receiver, giving him dual-threat capability.   Analysis: Competing at IMG adds credibility to his production and polish. Senat projects as a complete back with prototypical measurables. Continued refinement in pad level and leveraging his size for more yards after contact will take his game even further. High-ceiling prospect with strong measurables and versatility.   Tyree Pearson – Royal Palm Beach High (c/o 2026) Height/Weight: 5'11”, 222 lbs Season Stats: 99 carries for 1000 yards, 13 TDs; 9 receptions for 176 yards   Scouting Report: Pearson is a physical, bruising downhill back with elite size for the position. He runs with power and urgency, punishing defenders at the second level and requiring multiple tacklers to bring him down. Despite his size, he shows surprising burst and showcases plus receiving ability for a bigger back.   Analysis: Pearson's combination of frame, production, and versatility gives him tremendous upside. He profiles as a college-ready power back with three-down potential. Adon Elmon – Boca Raton High (c/o 2026) Height/Weight: 5'10”, 170 lbs Season Stats: 125 carries for 812 yards, 5 TDs; 22 receptions for 290 yards and 2 TDs   Scouting Report: Elmon is an electric, multipurpose weapon with high-level agility and open-field creativity. He accelerates quickly, slips through tight spaces, and is dangerous catching the ball. His receiving production is a major strength, making him a mismatch against linebackers.   Analysis: Elmon projects as a versatile offensive weapon who can fit into modern spread systems as a change-of-pace or all-purpose back. Continued strength development and improved durability will enhance his college projection, but his playmaking ability stands out immediately.
