Givens led Rancho Verde with 80 tackles, 12 for a loss and four sacks last season.

He was the linebacker MVP at the Prep Redzone Stock Up Showcase in January where he showed good coverage ability in the open field and good lateral speed. Givens is a hard hitter on film who diagnoses plays quickly and flashes good short-area quickness.

Givens earned MVP honors among the linebacker group with his standout play at Sunday’s showcase. He’s a lengthy, athletic LB that consistently showed his ability to cover and play in space, particularly in the 1v1 route period with the RBs. He packs rangy sideline-to-sideline speed, looked explosive changing direction, and matched the physicality he shows on film. He was a breakout defender in 2025 leading the Rancho Verde defense in tackles (80), sacks (4), and TFLs (12). Givens’ high-upside physical tools should see him pick up interest/offers on the recruiting trail this offseason.
