Week 11 – Regular Season Comes To An End

We had waited months for the 2025 high school football season to unfold, and after Saturday, the curtain will close.
As many teams prepare for the “second season” – the state playoffs, this week will bring to an end the careers of many student/athletes who had poured their heart and soul into this amazing sport.
The hours of running and practicing and attending camps and combines all in the name of getting better and becoming the best football player they could be.
While thousands will play for the final time at the high school level, others will embrace the state playoffs which could extend the season up to five weeks – if they are lucky enough to play for a state title.
With all that in mind, here is a look at this week's Prep Redzone Florida's top programs:
1 Bradenton IMG Academy (Independent, 8-0). The Ascenders rolled to a 38-14 win against East St. Louis, Illinois. THIS WEEK: 11/1 - Princeton Hun School, New Jersey. NEXT WEEK: 11/7 – Baltimore St. Frances Academy.
2. Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas (5A, 8-1). The Raiders knocked off defending 4A state champion Plantation American Heritage, 19-12. THIS WEEK: 10/31 – No. 4 Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna. NEXT WEEK: State Playoffs, TBA.
3. Miami Northwestern (3A, 9-0). The Bulls ended the regular season with their third straight shutout, 49-0, against Miami St. Brendan. THIS WEEK: Bye. NEXT WEEK: State Playoffs, TBA.
4. Hollywood Chaminade-Madonna (1A, 7-1). The Lions rolled to a 47-0 win against Fort Lauderdale Cardinal Gibbons. They outscored their last five opponents, 211-13. THIS WEEK: 10/31 - @No. 2 Fort Lauderdale St. Thomas Aquinas. NEXT WEEK: State Playoffs, TBA.
5. Seffner Armwood (6A, 9-0). The Hawks ran to their fourth straight shutout, 49-0, against Tampa Wharton. They have outscored the opposition, 394-51. THIS WEEK: 10/31 – Riverview. NEXT WEEK: State Playoffs, TBA.

10. Lakeland (5A, 8-1). The Dreadnaughts continued to roll along with a 44-6 win against Lakeland Kathleen. THIS WEEK: 10/31 – No. 30 Orlando The First Academy. NEXT WEEK: State Playoffs, TBA.
