<p><strong>KERSHAW |</strong> A bit of a fall chill was in the air Friday night in Kershaw County as North Central stunned Andrew Jackson with a 17-7 win. A safety in the first quarter gave North Central an early 2-0 lead that held until the third quarter.</p>

<p>Andrew Jackson responded to take a 7-2 lead in the early part of the third quarter, but that's when North Central quarterback <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1820699' first='Brayden' last='Price']</strong> (111 rushing yards, one touchdown) and running back <strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1816211' first='Johnathan' last='Coats']</strong> (68 rushing yards, one touchdown) took over. Price (pictured) expressed his pleasure with the blocking from his lineman and the ability to stick to Friday's gameplan.</p>

<p>"That one was done by the guys up front," he said. "Without them blocking, we don't get all those rushing yards. I thought the gameplan was great as well. We got down 7-2 but we stuck with it, and it got us this huge win and I'm extremely proud of my teammates."</p>

<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1823265' first='Quayson' last='Peoples']</strong> MLB/RB, 2026 - Peoples was the leader of the defense at linebacker, as he was in on what felt like every other tackle. Offensively, he added three carries for 12 yards.</p>
