Josiah Hall
Josiah Hall 6'1" | 160 lbs | WR/DB | 2029
FL

Florida has long been a hotbed of high school football talent. Annually, Florida produces some of the nation's top prospects. Florida athletes are known for their speed, agility, and raw athleticism. These prospects have made names for themselves and have caught the attention of coaches and scouts at the collegiate level. With the 2025 season getting closer, we're looking for players whose stock is rising in the state.

These players are all talented and have college-level abilities. Some of these players have a few offers, but all of them have the ability to play college football at some level.

There are some big-time, highly rated prospects and several sleeper prospects who should all be getting looks for the next level. This list is full of stud prospects.

Prep Redzone Florida will always support every player on their journey to playing college football.

Javaris Cason (c/o 2029)
Position: Wide Receiver
School: Westminster Academy
Height/Weight: 5'10”, 160 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 9): 31 receptions for 432 yards and 6 touchdowns

Evaluation: Cason has emerged as one of the more polished young receivers in South Florida's 2029 class. He runs crisp routes, tracks the ball well, and displays strong hands in traffic. His ability to create separation and turn short catches into big gains makes him a consistent weapon in Westminster Academy's passing attack. Cason's production and fluid movement skills give him the look of a high-upside receiver as he continues to develop physically.

[player_tooltip player_id='1900700' first='Josiah' last='Hall'] (c/o 2029)
Position: Wide Receiver
School: Tohopekaliga High
Height/Weight: 6'0”, 160 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 9): 37 receptions for 534 yards and 3 touchdowns

Evaluation: Hall is a smooth, long-framed receiver who excels at finding open zones and creating after the catch. His body control and timing on deep routes allow him to stretch the field, while his steady hands make him a reliable target on key downs. At 6'0”, 160 lbs, he has room to fill out, and as he adds strength, his combination of size, speed, and production could make him a breakout candidate in the coming seasons.

Brett Boston (c/o 2029)
Position: Wide Receiver
School: Santaluces High
Height/Weight: 5'11”, 160 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 9): 21 receptions for 458 yards and 1 touchdown

Evaluation: Boston is a dynamic young receiver with impressive speed and vertical ability. He's shown the knack for making big plays downfield, averaging over 20 yards per catch through nine weeks. His burst off the line and fluid route running make him tough to contain one-on-one. As his game matures, Boston's explosiveness and natural receiving instincts could make him one of the more dangerous young deep threats in Palm Beach County.

Algernod Crawford (c/o 2029)
Position: Wide Receiver
School: Glades Central High
Height/Weight: 5'10”, 160 lbs
Current Season Stats (through Week 9): 18 receptions for 410 yards and 6 touchdowns

Evaluation: Crawford has the flair and explosiveness that Glades Central receivers are known for. He's a smooth route runner with excellent burst after the catch, turning quick passes into chunk plays. His 6 touchdowns on just 18 receptions highlight his playmaking efficiency and ability to find the end zone. As he continues to refine his release and route precision, Crawford could quickly rise as one of the top young playmakers in South Florida.

Tarren Catul (c/o 2029)
Position: Wide Receiver
School: Wellington High
Height/Weight: N/A
Current Season Stats (through Week 9): 13 receptions for 248 yards and 1 touchdown

Evaluation: Catul shows promising flashes as a developing receiver with good athleticism and route awareness. He's able to find soft spots in coverage and makes tough catches in stride. His ability to make defenders miss after the catch adds value to his role in Wellington's offense. As his confidence and consistency continue to grow, Catul could become an important offensive piece with strong upside heading into his sophomore season.
