Tucci uses his very good bend around the edge and flexibility. to get the upper hand on the tackle. Very explosive player. He uses his very good hand speed to engage with the OL first. Maintains a low pad level and very good hand strength and placement to move the OL with ease. Tucci has a powerful bull rush to knock the tackle off of their anchor. He has good get off speed paired with very good block shedding. He has very good pursuit, and doesn’t stop till the play is over. I’m very impressed with Tucci this season.

Very good bend around the edge. Very explosive off the edge. Tucci gets a low pad level and uses his good hand placement mixed with a spin move to swift around the tackle. He creates pressure that leads to interceptions. Against Coronado, he ran through multiple OL to create pressure leading to an incompletion. He has relentless pursuit and doesn’t stop till the whistle is blown. Tucci will continue fighting for that #1 sack spot as we continue throughout the season.

Tucci has been one of the most dominant defensive forces in 3A football this season. With 49 total tackles, 16 tackles for loss and an incredible 12 sacks, Tucci is consistently wreaking havoc in opposing backfields. His relentless motor and ability to shed blocks make him a nightmare for offensive linemen. In addition to his pass rushing production, he’s forced three fumbles and recovered two, taking one all the way for a touchdown. Tucci’s combination of power, speed and endurance sets the tone for his defense. He plays with intensity every snap and has emerged as one of the premier trench players in 3A. Expect him to continue to anchor his team’s defense as the postseason approaches.
