A max-effort lineman who plays hard and finds his way into the backfield, Poole has been an effective run defender who has also shown the ability to rush the quarterback. One of the more underrated defenders in the surrounding Gainesville area, Poole has been a tackle machine this season with 45 tackles, eight TFLs and 4.5 sacks through his first six games. He’s one of the region’s top pass-rushers right now and has a chance to play even better throughout the season. He’s having a really strong junior season and should continue to chase the quarterback over the next several weeks as his junior season progresses.
