South Florida Sacking The Competition

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While so much is made about the offensive performers during the high school football season, we have to remind the fans and those who have a passion for the sport that there are some defensive prospects who continue to turn heads as well.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Big scoring plays on offense sometimes overshadows what they are doing on the defensive side of the ball – and in Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach Counties there is certainly no shortage of playmakers.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>While the most exciting play on offense could be that long touchdown pass or a scoring play down near the goal line, the defense has the quarterback sack.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>There is nothing quite like a game-changing play where the defensive lineman, linebacker or blitzing secondary performer comes up with a sack.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>As we head toward the seventh week of the season, there are some impressive sack specialists who have grabbed the spotlight as college coaches are always looking for those big play guys on defense.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Here is a look at some of those south Florida area defensive prospects who are defining their season with that huge sack:</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>2027 -
