CJ Senatore CJ Senatore 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB/LB Fort Lee | 2027 State NJ is a prospect that should be getting more flowers than he currently is. I think part of this has to do with him playing in an Ivy Division, meaning his Bridgemen are ineligible for the playoffs. While also playing some defense, Senatore is, truly, a two-way threat on offense that does everything. On 73 attempts this year, Senatore has tallied 820 yards and 12 touchdowns — good for 11.2 yards per carry and at least 1 score on the ground in every game. Additionally, he finds himself with 4 receptions for 134 yards and 2 scores, while making 29 tackles (14 solo, 3 for loss), a sack, 2 interceptions, a blocked kick, and 1 pick-six to his credit.

I remember ranking CJ Senatore CJ Senatore 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB/LB Fort Lee | 2027 State NJ last time out and liking his film as a running back. After watching his performance at live at linebacker, I feel that my initial evaluation was vindicated. Senatore might be more of a “mouse” than a “cat,” in the sense that when linebacking, he was more concerned about where to go or move next. This caused him to not cover a lot of ground, while he was a bit too high as well. That said, I think Senatore is a running back. He seems to be more natural being the hunted running back, rather than the hunting linebacker.

Part of Fort Lee’s breakthrough season had to do with the play of CJ Senatore CJ Senatore 5'11" | 190 lbs | RB/LB Fort Lee | 2027 State NJ . A mike linebacker, Senatore wraps well and is capable of knocking someone on their rear when he has a running start. A forceful hitter, he is often sent on blitzes where, although I am unsure if it is by design or by ability, Senatore gets through untouched quite a bit. I appreciate how he appears coached in the old school manner: take a diagnose step, get hands on climbing offensive lineman to shed and pursue. Lastly, we see that he has true sideline speed, where it is tough for anyone to beat him to the edge. Senatore also served as a running back for the Bridgemen. At tailback we see him catch the ball with his hands, as he was frequently featured in the passing attack. With the ball in his hands he has balance up the sideline and was able to break arm tackles with ease.
