Midseason 2026 Quarterback Review

Let's check it out.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='706445' first='Jack' last='Durr']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Durr is an amazing quarterback who has a really good arm. We know that he can also put it deep for his receivers to go and get the football. Durr is a 2026 quarterback from Pearl who we think has a lot of good talent. You are going to see that he is an amazing player for his team. We think that he does have division one talent.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Triston Edwards</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Edwards is a quarterback from Louisville who is getting his first year as the starting guy. He has been doing a really good job of getting the ball to his receivers. We have been impressed with the way that he has been playing this season. He should be able to go out there and get him a scholarship this season. Coaches would love to have a kid like him on their team.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='1193249' first='George' last='Wilcox']</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Wilcox is a good player with some really good talents on the field. This dude is a really talented player from Leake Academy who has some good receivers who go and get the football for him. We were able to get our eyes on him for the first time in the 2023 Super Sophomore game. This kid really balled out during the game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:heading --> <h2 class="wp-block-heading"><strong>Boss Colenberg</strong></h2> <!-- /wp:heading --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Colenberg is out there doing his thing. This kid has some good speed and good arm. He is going to be able to get out there and run with the best of them. He can also get out there and throw with the best of them. Colenberg has a big task ahead of him. He is doing his best to try to get South Panola back to the playoffs with the potential to rock and roll. He has what it takes to get that done.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
