About Anthony

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

I play fast, with aggression and calculation. I have good instincts, field awareness and anticipate the read of the defense. On the defensive side i track well and will hit you hard. On the offensive side, I will not go down easy and want to tire you out, so as we get late in the game you are exhausted. I want to defeat you.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

Ready and Confident, I am learning at all angles and will apply what I read on the field and experience, to the next carry or tackle.

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I am class president for my sophomore class and plan on working with my peers to bring more attention to our school sports and town pride. We here in Oyster Bay are a small, but a strong group. I volunteer my time whenever I can, to help with town run events or even the occasional lending hand to my older neighbors to get their daily tasks accomplished. I am always offering to help when i can.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Being able the opportunity to make Varsity as a Freshman for Football, Basketball and Baseball as allowed me into to see firsthand how leaderships is built and groomed. I am getting the chance to step in and make a difference, to take charge when needed to get those around me inline and pumped. You are only as good as those around you, so i fight to make sure everyone knows it's a team effort.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

Yes, everyday. I have chosen to challenge myself in everything, from taking advanced and AP classes as a freshman and sophomore so i can be a better version of myself. Life is not meant to be handed to you on a platter, you have to work to put food on that platter.

What type of college are you looking for?

Growing up i have always been fascinated with Hurricanes and weather, so i am looking for a school that would offer something in the sciences, like Atmospheric Sciences or Earth Science and plan to minor in Finance. So i am open to see what colleges out there can offer those as well as football
