Tyson Garrett Tyson Garrett 6'0" | 210 lbs | LB Roncalli | 2022 State IN – Roncalli – MLB – 6’0″ 210 lbs
Garrett is a fantastic football player. He has the potential to be something special. He’s a fantastic athlete and flies all over the field and makes plays. He plays at high speed all the time and likes to make contact. He sees the ball and he goes to get the ball. He’s been named a Preseason All-State player and it’s much deserved. He plays hard and he’s always getting better. He has a handful of offers heading into his senior year. If he lands in the right program he could potentially make a push to the NFL. He has the tools, he just needs to be coached up.
Evan Reff Evan Reff 6'0" | 185 lbs | DB Castle | 2022 State IN – Castle – FS – 6’0″ 185 lbs
Reff is the backend sealer of the defense. Not much gets past him and he’s always making plays. He’s able to read the field and use his speed to make plays. They will use him down in the box to blitz and line up at LB in the red zone. When he’s down in the box he’s a threat to hit home when he’s blitzing. He’s a 2-star recruit with offers from every local school. As he heads into his senior year he’s probably looking to take a big jump and land some big offers.
Keenan Hicks Keenan Hicks 6'1" | 165 lbs | DB Decatur Central | 2022 State IN – Decatur – CB/WR – 6’1″ 160 lbs
Hicks is someone who can excel on either side of the ball. He’s able to play WR and go up and make the catch anytime the ball gets near him. He’s able to make guys miss and break tackles with the ball in his hands. On defense, he likes to put his hands on the opposing WR and play physically. He could use a good summer in the weight room. He’s pretty light and could bulk up moving forward. Hicks has a few offers from schools like Ball State but he’s hoping that will a big year he can land some bigger offers. He has the raw ability, he just needs to be coached up. His fundamentals are fairly raw and not the prettiest thing.
Ethan Hutt Ethan Hutt 6'3" | 300 lbs | OL Franklin Central | 2022 State IN – Franklin Central – C/G – 6’3″ 300 lbs
Hutt is a fun player. He’s tough and gritty in the trenches but will make you chuckle while he’s putting you into the ground. He is a very decent size and filled out but he could lose some of the excess weight and turn it into muscle. He isn’t in bad shape by any means, but if he puts on 20 pounds of muscle he could be a huge problem at the next level. It’s not often that players have the level of upper-body strength that Hutt has. He squats over 400 lbs and likes to spend his time in the weight room. He’s putting in the work and trying to put some of that muscle on. He’s going to continue to develop and make strides as a player.
Brock Robertson Brock Robertson 5'11" | 180 lbs | DB Harrison | 2022 State IN – Harrison – SS – 6’0″ 180 lbs
Robertson is more of an instinctive player. He’s able to read stuff and trust his instincts to go make the play. While he isn’t the best athlete, he’s good enough to get the job done properly. He’s the leader of the backend of that defense and they will rely on him again this year. He’s spent his summer working in some 7 on 7 camps trying to improve on his footwork and mechanics. Robertson is a 2-star recruit with no offers yet but this summer he put himself on the map in those camps. He’s now got coaches watching him heading into the year and with a good year he could easily land himself a handful of offers to play at the collegiate level.
