About Blake

How would you briefly describe your gameplay style?

Explosive, powerful downhill runner with excellent vision and balance. Averages 10 yards per carry with a proven ability to break tackles and accelerate through contact. Strong lower-body drive allows me to finish runs, while top-end speed gives me home-run play potential. Trusted in short-yardage and goal-line situations but also dangerous in open field. 2024 I had 1,047 yards/105 carries/13 TDs.

Can you provide a brief description of your mentality or personality?

My mentality is to go full speed on every rep in practice because that’s how I get better and make my teammates better. I want to set the tone as a leader by showing that I walk the talk. Off the field, I study film from practice and games to sharpen my skills and correct mistakes so I can keep improving.”

Are you involved in any clubs, organizations, or have you received any non-sport awards?

I volunteer at the food bank once per month.

What skills or qualities have you developed, such as leadership, teamwork, or community service?

Through my six years of karate, I have learned discipline and leadership. I understand that it is not the situation I’m in, but how I handle it. I believe in taking care of my community because that is a simple way of taking care of myself.

Have you faced any significant challenges? If so, please describe.

When they took our 4th grade football team that was 9-1 and split it when we were in 5th and 6th grade. We had two ok teams. It was hard for me because our OLine was not very good and I had to keep my head up everyday. It was hard because I got hit in the backfield a lot.

What type of college are you looking for?

I like to go to a power 5 school. My first choice would be Ohio State.
