Earlier this week we released the updated 2028 rankings. In Part 2, here are 10 more New Additions (listed in alphabetical order):

[player_tooltip player_id='1826019' first='Canton' last='Cahoon'], Farmington: Cahoon is a promising slot receiver for the Scorpions. He possesses good speed. He'll also be one of Farmington's backup quarterbacks.

Landon Cochran, Hope Christian: The 6-foot-1, 180-pound Cochrane is slated to start for Hope Christian at defensive end. With his size and speed, Cochrane figures to make a significant impact for the Huskies for the next three seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826071' first='Jacob' last='Herrera'], Gadsden: Herrera looks to make a contribution as wide receiver for Gadsden – possibly as the No. 2 WR - in his first year with the varsity. Up-and-comer for the Panthers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826051' first='Richard' last='Holguin'], Deming: The future for Deming at quarterback. His playing style is a lot like former Wildcats QB Ryan Alfaro. While he waits his turn behind center, Holguin could play some defensive back.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826155' first='Kane' last='Huffmyer'], St. Pius X: The 6-foot-1 Huffmyer, a transfer from Hope Christian, joins a loaded wide receiver/tight end corps at St. Pius X. He's also slated to start at LB for the Sartans.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826031' first='Derek' last='Lopez'], Artesia: Regarded as an up-and-comer at defensive line for the Bulldogs. Lopez is big, fast and strong, and is expected to make a major impact this season.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826073' first='Rudy' last='Orduno'], Gadsden: Orduno has already made an impact on Gadsden's offensive line as he played both guard spots as a freshman last season. Huge upside. Orduno could develop into one of the top O-Linemen in southern New Mexico.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826009' first='Diego' last='Parra'], Los Lunas: Right now, Parra is slated to be Los Lunas' No. 2 RB after gaining valuable varsity experience last season. He saw most of his action with the JV team. The RB spot looks loaded for Los Lunas over the next couple of seasons.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826036' first='Luis' last='Rodriguez'], Roswell: Speaking of a bright future at RB, Rodriguez is being eyed for varsity action in 2025. He has two seniors ahead of him on Roswell's RB depth chart, so Rodriguez could start the season on the Coyotes JV team. But he might not be there long. Rodriguez is fast (qualified for state track meet) and strong (powerlifter). As his coach proclaimed, Rodriguez is special and it could be hard to keep him off the field.

[player_tooltip player_id='1826062' first='Daxton' last='Schulke'], Deming: The 6-foot-3 Schulke has already earned enough trust from the Deming coaching staff that he's slated to start at left tackle for the Wildcats. So, he'll be trusted with protecting the QB's blind side.
