As a passer, he shows good accuracy when he gets to set his feet in the pocket and some nice velocity on the shorter throws. He’s a gifted scrambler who can pick up big chunks of yardage with his legs and can lower his shoulder into defenders to break tackles. Cadet could improve his off-platform throwing but his athleticism makes him tough to game plan for.

Balanced dual-threat with solid junior production: 1,383 passing yards and 18 TDs plus 216 rushing yards and 6 TDs. He’s a confident leader who can make plays with his arm and legs. Projection: Reliable Group of 5 or strong FCS prospect. Good enough athlete to keep defenses honest and accurate enough to move the chains. One more year of growth in the pocket and he could push for higher-level offers. Solid mid-tier starter potential.
