CJ had a solid showing during drills and looked comfortable working through the different station work. He moved with good effort, stayed engaged on every rep, and didn’t shy away from competing when things got physical. There were flashes where his timing and awareness stood out, especially when he stayed composed and finished plays clean. As the drill work went on, he settled in and started stacking more consistent reps. Overall, it was a steady performance that showed he’s continuing to develop and build confidence.

Whaley is a prototype outside receiver with elite ball skills and body control. He consistently wins in contested situations because he attacks the football at the catch point which enables him to win on 50/50 balls consistently.

His basketball background shows up in his timing and elevation. Add in the ability to stretch the field, and you’re looking at a complete vertical threat.
