When he was hired back in 2021 to elevate Clearwater High's football program, Thor Jozwiak accepted the position knowing that with his knowledge and work ethic, the players and coaches associated with the program would accept what he brought to the table.

As we fast forward four years, this is a team that is coming off a 7-4 season that included a district championship after winning the last six games of the 2024 season.

What Jozwiak and this team learned from last year and a state playoff setback to Tampa Jesuit that this is now a program that fully expects to be in the mix every year, and with a productive off-season, this is a year they have all looked forward to.

While the seven wins were important to the growth of Clearwater High football, it was the losses – to Jesuit, 1A power Clearwater Central Catholic, always talented St. Petersburg Lakewood and Wiregrass Ranch that put this season into focus.
