Nance has put together the type of six-month span that has given us every reason to rank him before he graduates. News flash: We’ve already decided it will happen for him in the Winter update.

After impressing at a number of camps this summer (including the Newberry Prospect Camp we attended in July), the (verified) 6-foot-2, 170-pound cornerback has the type of physical traits that are shooting him up some recruiting charts, too. In addition to his height, he’s also got a verified 77-inch wing span, excellent jumping ability and wheels that allow him to pivot and stay with most receivers he’s going to line up against.

Metrics like his don’t usually pop up at the cornerback position in high school. In fact, corners usually don’t look like him at the college level, either.
