Omaha North's [player_tooltip player_id='1114626' first='Marquise' last='McIntyre-Dailey'] emerged in his sophomore season as one of the freakier athletes in this cycle and has continued to impress, combining great measurables at 6'4", 260 pounds, and a 6'8" wingspan with elite athleticism to give him a massive ceiling. As a junior, Marquise recorded 59 total tackles, 22 TFLs, and four sacks, showing the ability to generate splash plays for losses. When watching Marquise's tape, the biggest thing that stands out to me is his speed (reported 10.7 100m dash), especially in his get off, where he flashes a quick first step and explosiveness out of his stance. McIntyre-Dailey also showed that he can win his 1v1s with both power and finesse, using his quickness off the line to turn speed into a powerful bullrush, or he can use his hands effectively to shed blocks. He can also set the edge very well, displaying the ability to stack and shed with a lateral quickness to chase down ball carriers. I can see Marquise playing with his hand in the dirt as a defensive lineman or wreaking havoc off the edge as a stand-up OLB. McIntyre-Dailey holds offers from Minnesota State-Mankato, Peru State, Wayne State, Nebraska-Kearney, Iowa Central, Missouri Western, Sioux Falls, and Central Missouri. Tons of potential here!

A mid-season move shortened how much we were able to see [player_tooltip player_id='487757' first='Dallas' last='Washington'] last season, but when he was on the field, it was tough to find a better big-play receiver in this class. Despite only appearing in four games for the Titans, Washington still scored on four of his six receptions, totaling 226 receiving yards while averaging 37.7 yards per reception. Washington has a stronger build and has a solid frame at 6'1" and 195 pounds, allowing him to be physical with DBs at the line of scrimmage and when boxing out to go up for the catch. Washington is a versatile big-play threat with his ability to attack the intermediate area of the field, then turn upfield with an excellent burst and break away with great acceleration. He can also flat-out run past defenders with his ability to get a clean release off the line and get vertical immediately with great straight-line speed. Strong contact balance to keep him upright as he powers through weak arm tackles. Dallas currently holds two offers from Morningside and Peru State. Should be a big season for Dallas and the Titans this fall!

The Bishop Neumann Cavaliers look primed to make another run at Memorial as they bring back a great group of players, including senior linebacker [player_tooltip player_id='1115000' first='Jack' last='Van Slyke']. I had the opportunity to watch the Cavs in person last season, and Jack stood out immediately with his rangy play that seemed to have him right in the mix on every play. This heads-up play resulted in Jack finishing second in the state with 155 total tackles and an additional 3.5 TFLs, a fumble recovery, and an interception returned for a touchdown. Jack is a throwback LB who thrives at going downhill and can blow up backs in the hole. Van Slyke does a good job reading his keys, which allows him to fill in his gaps effectively. He has good power in his upper body and a strong base, which helps him disengage from blockers at the line of scrimmage. Non-stop motor keeps him running from snap to whistle. Van Slyke has earned a pair of offers from Morningside and Mount Marty. Smart, productive middle linebacker who can bring a physical edge to your defense!

The Griffins took a big step in 2024 and will be ready to take the next one this fall with a ton of experience on both sides of the ball. One player who is set to continue their rise is receiver [player_tooltip player_id='533088' first='Seth' last='Kraegel'], who had a breakout year in 2024 with 35 receptions for 741 yards and eight receiving touchdowns with an average of 21.2 yards per reception. Kraegel has a good feel for creating separation, displaying great start/stop ability, clean breaks, and a high understanding of how to outleverage DBs. He also knows how to identify and exploit soft spots in coverage, which is extra dangerous considering the sharp connection he has with his QB. Good fluidity in space. Great concentration through the catch process with strong hands to hold on to the ball through contact. Seth is a highly reliable receiver whom you can count on in all situations, whether you need a quick first down to continue the drive or want to take a shot at the defense— he can attack at all levels of the field. Seth also showed some flashes on defense, recording a pick-six last season and setting himself up for a bigger two-way role this fall. Seth has earned offers from Minnesota State-Mankato, Wayne State, Midland, and Dordt, with several other programs keeping tabs on the Griffin's prospect.

Skutt Catholic's [player_tooltip player_id='1581457' first='Nathan' last='Christensen'] jumped onto my radar after putting together an explosive performance at the PRZ showcase last winter. Since then, Nate has continued to show why he could be in store for a big season this fall with great camp and 7v7s showings. Christensen had a solid junior season in which he finished second on the team in receiving with 20 receptions for 403 yards and five touchdowns. He also recorded 29 tackles, three interceptions, a kickoff return for a touchdown, and a punt return for a touchdown on defense and special teams. One of the biggest aspects of Nate's game that stands out when evaluating him is his athleticism, displaying a great mix of speed, agility, and explosiveness. At Stock Up, Christensen recorded times of a 4.63 40-yard dash, 3.9 shuttle drill, and a 6.90 L-drill with a 9'2" broad jump. This translates very well to the field, where you can see his precise change of direction when running routes and fluidity when trying to stick with receivers in coverage. Nate knows how to bring a mean streak out on the perimeter, showing a willingness to be physical with receivers and aggressive when going up to attack the ball. Excellent ball skills include strong hands, good body control, and great concentration. Nate currently holds an offer from Wayne State and will likely see that list grow with a strong senior campaign.
