Gavin doesn’t take long to show you how slippery he appears to be around the edges of the field for his age and size as a pass-catcher. As a route-runner, Gavin impresses me with his change of direction especially on short routes as he gets well-versed seperation that you might not expect from a 5’8 150 pound wide receiver out of small town North Dakota. He flies off the edge defensively as a sneaky linebacker that knows how to utiilze his sudden burst to find the ball carrier quickly in the backfield. One of the more impressive tape grades I have within our our top 10 in our 2029 class, as one that seems ahead of the bell curve with his football IQ.
